United against Global Warming

Both senators John McCain and Barack Obama are seen debating on varied issues with no common goals. But they are seemingly commonly thinking in agreeing that Bush administration's policies on Global Warming were weak, Reports New York Times.
Both the senators propose policies and laws to make way for sharp cuts in greenhouse gas emissions by mid century. This rare agreement by both presidential candidates have put relief on environmentalists on the backdrop of US slowdown. Many still fear that the new president may not be in a position to enforce strict laws to reduce greenhouse emissions untill unless the economic slowdown of the nation is in place. This may take down some valuable years from the humankind to save themselves.
